IDF curvesStormwater modelling for a region of intense rainfall and flash flooding. We ran hydrological analysis on localized IDF curves, assessed urban runoff, and designed drainage with permeable pavements and bio-retention areas, aligned with the Jeddah Stormwater Drainage Program.
25-yr checkStormwater network design for 5 and 10-year return periods using the Rational Method and SCS Curve Number method, with peak flow estimation, hydraulic modelling and drainage optimisation. A geocell capacity retention check covered the 25-year event.
50-yr floodDetailed project report with hydrodynamic analysis of the Cauvery stretch, so the components proposed near the river bunds stay flood resilient. The report also recommends desilting options for long-term performance.
50-yr floodWe studied topography and natural drainage, designed hydraulic interventions on nallahs and streams, ran real-time flood analysis with a hydrodynamic model of the catchment and canal, assisted with the DPR, and monitored approvals for funding.
Water balanceDPR preparation, rainfall-runoff and water balance modelling, GIS watershed maps and a storm water management model for drain design. We estimated storage in existing water bodies and planned capacity enhancement, desilting and new water bodies, with site visits for SIPCOT park restoration.
UFW and DMAWe simulated the existing supply system, assessed present and future demand, quantified unaccounted-for water and proposed ways to cut it. DMAs were marked out with a modified hydraulic model, and the DPR came with drawings, estimates and funding appraisal.
Village WASHField investigation and consultation with officials and villagers to find bottlenecks, followed by design and analysis of civil components, cost estimates, technical sanction and the DPR.
